~ .~
~. `
that "flow measurements will be ideally taken twice a year if water is available to
sample...once during spring snow melt and once during a storm event." No samples were
taken from either Munger or McClane Creek during the 2001 or 2002 water years. Please
ensure that an operator representative who is on-site full time is assigned the responsibility
of collecting samples and flow measurements during at least one summer storm runoff
event and from snowmelt runoff at the Munger Creek and McClane Creek sampling sites.
2. To facilitate assessment of conformance with Probable Hydrologic Consequences
(PHC) projections in future AHR reports, a direct reference should be made within the AHR
to predictions of minewater inflow from the PHC section of the application (Appendix N, p.
2). Please include a narrative evaluation of conformance of observed inflow to PHC
projections contained in Appendix N.
Please contact me if you haven any questions.
Sincerely ~- .,
Daniel T. Mathews
Environmental Protection Specialist
C: Denver File
