Of the 13 propoaed~or presently active gravel pit <br />operations, it appears through conversation that due to the low key activity <br />there should be minimal stress or impact on wildlife in the immediate areas. <br />It should be pointed out, however, that all, operations should follow 404 guidelines. <br />Those sites which will consist of a crusher operation should not have any return <br />water flow to the stream. Any of thirteen sites which should develop into anything <br />more than a small operation, the Division of wildlife would request additional <br />input by our agency. <br />Respectfully yours, <br />Jim.
