O'Brian: <br />This refers to your letter of 1 October 1981, and the visit by Mr. Albert Frei <br />to our office on 6 October 1981. We have reviewed your proposed gravel pit <br />and conveyor bridge crossing of the river in Sections 11 and 12, Township <br />6 South, Range 92 (vest near Silt, Garfield County, Colorado. <br />According to the information provided no fill material will be placed in the <br />Colorado River or its adjacent wetlands. Therefore, no permit will be <br />required. Should you decide to place fill for temporary or permanent dikes, <br />stockpiles or other purposes into the wetlands on the site or into the river <br />you should contact the Grand Junction Office well in advance of the work. <br />If you have further questions, please colitact the Grand Junction Office. <br />Sincerely <br />j~ <br />D.
