Bowie Resources Limited <br />Bowie No. 2 Mine <br />Inactive Ground Water Monitoring Points <br />• <br />DHJ4B Freeman Gulch-Drill Hole <br />DH~4B is located in Freeman Gulch, near the Upper Freeman Gulch monitoring point and near P-2 (Pond 2). It is <br />accessed by an old coal exploration road. Il was destroyed by mining during 2001, and is yet to be sealed. <br />DH-13 Freeman Gulch-Drill Hole <br />DH-13 is located in Freeman Gulch, high on the northward facing slope. This hole is accessed by an old coal exploraticn <br />road that runs along the ridge separating Freeman Gulch from the alluvial valley of the North Fork o(the Gunnison. This <br />hole was destroyed by mining in 2001 and is yet to fre sealed. <br />DH-16 D Gulch-Drill Hole <br />DH-16 (Drill hole 16) is located at the end of an old coal exploration road near the Upper D Gulch monitoring site, <br />on a south facing slope. Can no longer get bailer or M-Scope past a blockage at 60 feet, and as such is considered <br />inactive. <br />AW-13 Alluvial Well <br />This alluvial well was installed during 2001 to gather baseline data fw PR-06. It is located along the north side of the <br />Union Pack Railroad. It was destroyed by construction activities during the spring of 2002. <br />AW-14 Alluvial Well <br />• This alluvial well will be installed just to the south of the new Sediment Pond J, in accordance with the construction <br />of the new loadout facility and P R-06, <br />• <br />RN-o! <br />5~9~oz <br />Page 3 <br />
