Surfacing for driveway approach is required as follows: 12" of class 1 gravel in 1, 12" lifts;6" of class 6 gravel in 1, b" lifts and 3" of HBP in 2, 1.50" lifts of grade E, EX, or equivalent. The asphalt cement in the HBP shall be AC (10). Fill/cut slopes shall be at a 3:1 slope on the roadway and at 6:1 on the access approach. It is the responsibility of the property owner to prevent all livestock from entering the State Highway right-of-way. Any livestock that does enter the Highway right-of-way is the responsibility of the property owner. This approach shall not. be used until existing is closed. A new 24" C+ip culvert shall be used. Compaction of sub-grade, embankments and bnclcfill shall comply with Section 203.11 of the Division of Highways Standard Specifications. ' Compaction of Hot Bituminous Pavement (HBP) shell comply with Section 401.17 of the division of Highways Standard Specifications.
