The establishment of Shrub thickets would
not only provide food & cover for wildlife but also a visual barrier for the pit from
the nearby County Road. Recommended species to plant, in order of preference, are
Plum, duffaloberry, Chokecherry, Wild Rose, Z Sandhill Cherry. The planting of trees
like Russian Olive and Cottonless Cottonwood xould benefit raptors and other bird
species and is also recommended. A manintenance free system of planting the above tree
and shrub species is described by 47arren Synder in the April-ifayYissue of Colorado
Outdoors, a Division of Wildlife Publication. i4B3
Prepared
Submitted By:
'T'his statement is void
•n.i~ nnalvtis does not
if not processed within 1 year.
constitute approval of application.
Date: ~~ ~~
Date:~8,},,x` ~`~1g3
