~~ <br />~~ <br />14. The sedimentation ponds will operate solely nn the hasi.s <br />of settling, of sol.i.ds. The water will be retained for 24 <br />hours to permit settling to occur. Periodic removal of accum- <br />ulated sediment will maintain the volume of the pottd. <br />Quarterly sampling reports will be submitted to the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board as per 4.05.13 of the <br />CMLRB Regulations. <br />The ponds are designed to retain the runoff from the <br />10 yr. - 24 hr. event. The emergency spillway will pass the <br />flow from the 25 yr, - 24 hr. event. A summary of pond <br />characteristics is attached. <br />I5.
