Fiddler's Green Circle, Suite 535N vIAR 2 3 1991 <br />Englewood, CO 80111 <br />Mined Land <br />Re: Sand Creek Mine b P°-~Of:Sa~ Cr-~~ ~ ~"- "''^^ ~ <br />h C , <br />Dear Mr. Kincaid: <br />I am in receipt of a Notice of Filing Application for Colorado Mined <br />Land Permit for Regular (112) Operation for the Sand Creek Mine. <br />The application is fora 40 acre sand and gravel mine to be located <br />approximately 7 1/2 miles north of Byers in unincorporated Adams <br />County. <br />To the best of my knowledge, this office has not been contacted in <br />reference to this project proposal. A Conditional Use Permit is <br />required for a mining operation in Adams County. Please advise the <br />owner/operator that an approved Conditional Use Permit is required <br />in order to operate in Adams County. <br />I would suggest that a pre-application conference be set in order to <br />reach an understanding on what application materials will be needed <br />and what type of a mining and reclamation plan may be necessary.
