~ • <br />~a <br />EXHIBIT B <br />SITE DESCRIPTION <br />(a) General soil, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Soil <br />Conservation Service, ii~the Santanta-Kim which is: nearly level to stronglw <br />sloping, deep, well drained, light colored soils that formed in silty eolian <br />material. <br />The specific area consists of one (1) soil type: <br />1) SAMPSON LOAM, 0-2% slopes #37 <br />Please see the attached map and description of soil types. <br />(b) There are no permanent man-made structures within 200' of the affected <br />area. <br />(c) Active mining area will be adjacent to, but not in, Ladder Creek. <br />Ladder Creek is a dry creek but will run water a couple times a year after <br />°significant rains. The creek should not receive drainage directly from the <br />affected area. There are no springs, lakes, stock water ponds, ditches, <br />reservoirs, or acquifers which would receive drainage. <br />
