-26- <br />• <br />1. An access r•ozd will be constructed from an existing access gate located <br />on Highway 13 to. the pond location. The road will be approximately 550 <br />feet long'and 20 feet +aide. It will be constructed approximately level <br />with the existing ground surface to avoid the possibility of impounding <br />water if Good Spring Creek rose out of its banks. A culvert will be <br />utilized as a temporary crossing zt Good Spring Creek. FoiTo+ving comple- <br />tion of construction, the crossing will be removed. The same procedure <br />will be incorporated for crossing during future dredging operations. <br />2. vegetation will be removed from the area and a key cut made as shown in <br />Figure 2. <br />3. The pond will be excavated to design elevations shown on Figure 1. <br />4. Excavated material will be placed into the dam configuration in successive <br />Tifts to ensure a minimum of 90ro compaction. <br />Operations Plan <br />5.
