Table 1: Data summarv for Gulch A Pond. All specifications in the approved plan for the Gulch A Pond have been mzt or er.ceeded as shown in the following data summary (Table 1). As shown in the accompanying figures, the excavation was two feet deeper than originally designed. Since an access road and cleaning pad for future dredging were added to the structure during construction, a sut.sequent decrease in capacity would have occurred, so additional capacity was obtained by excavating tolo feet deeper. In addition, the width of the emergency spillway wes increased so the slope cn the sides of the spillway could be decreased to accommodate future tt•uck traffic from the cleaning pad. The cross sectional area of the emergency spillway increased from 45 ft.2 to 52 ft.2.
