EXHIBIT E (Cont'd)

for drilling. Planting of grasses will occur between April 1
' and May 15 of each year in which planting takes place.
' Mulch. A mulch of 4,000 lbs. per acre of air-dry straw
will be applied after grass seeding is completed. The mulch
' will be disced or crimped in. The straw will meet SCS
I
standards for straw mulch.
' Trees. The SCS made no recommendation for tree plantings
because of the high flood potential in the area. Therefore,
'
the revegetation program does not include the planting of trees.
' It is likely that PdPM will attempt to establish some cotton-
wood and Russian olive trees and some non-tree varieties
' such as wild cherry and plum thickets. (See map Exhibit F for
pattern of possible tree and shrub plantings.) Also, it is
' likely that willows will invade the area even though the
operator does not intend to plant them.
' Reclamation Timetable. The reclamation phases listed
below may be correlated to map Exhibits D-1 and F. The phases
' correspond to the mining stages and are numbered accordingly.
Note that these are estimates only and that variations may
' occur.
i~

1
~ 1
i Zo
