<br />I. Bunn Pit <br />A. Site Description <br />1. Habitat Classification - Meadow wetland. <br />~„~. <br /> <br />2. Vegetative Character - the proposed development site is primarily <br />composed of cultivated hay land comprising approximately 90 percent <br />of the area. In addition, approximately 10 percent of the <br />vegetative surface is covered by mature deciduous forest with an <br />overstory of Cottonwood trees and an understory of Box Elder being <br />the dominant features. <br />3. Wildlife Character - currently the proposed development site is of <br />primary importance to a variety of nongame wildlife spps. (refer to <br />wildlife spp. list). Although the proposed development will result <br />in a site specific reduction in local population levels of some <br />wildlife spps., an overall increase in species diversification and <br />relative abundance will be realized from the gravel operation. <br />B.
