/ . <br />_i;niol" D i:ining ?.an <br />Re: File =74-39(uglc <br /> <br /> <br />;;mended June 2;,, 1974 <br />Signs and Markers - 717.12 <br />A11 signs and markers will be constructed of 3J4" plywood or heavy <br />gage metal, aluminum or steel, covered with two coats of long lasting <br />enamel paint. The signs and markers will have a rectangular shape, and <br />dimensions of not less than 12" x l8" and not more than 4' x 8'. All <br />lettering will be legible and maintained during all mining operations. <br />Signs will be placed at all access points to the permit area, from <br />public highways, and shall contain the following: <br />1. Name of the mine <br />2. Address <br />3. Telephone number <br />4. Mining I.D. number <br />5. Mining permit number <br />6. Reclamation permit number <br />and all other authorizations pertinent to operating a coal mine, so <br />designated by Federal, State and County Laws. <br />Identifying signs shalt be placed on topsoil piles (temporary and <br />permanent), the refuse pile, sedimentation ponds, test (reference plots) <br />and perimeter zones, blasting areas, buffer zones and at all other sites <br />so designated by the Regulatory Authority. <br /> <br />
