The pond formed by the foregoing processes
will be utilized as a habitat for fish and for water fowl
and other wild animals which inhabitat the area or travel
through during migration. The gravel pit is within the
confines of the Signal Peak Ranch, and there is not much
human activity that takes place around the area. Cattle
grazing takes place during the spring and fall months, and
the hay fields are, of course, cultivated and harvested
during the summer.
The owners intend to call upon the Soil Conservation
Service for its advice, and to follow its recommendations,
in consultation with the owners, as to the best way of
reclaiming the land after the gravel operations are com-
pleted. We estimate that the cost of reclamation would not
exceed the sum of $800.00.
SIGN PEAK RANCH CO.
~/_'!iD/~JG GSo Dan I.
