Mammals include: tnulz deer; cottontail rabbit. cuvotz; white wiled <br />prairie dov; beaver. muskrat, striped skunk, and raccoon. Birds include migratory song birds and <br />humming birds, re-tail hawk; Bald eagle; crow, red-winged blackbird. Canada goose, mallard. teal; <br />' and coot. Amphibians and reptiles include bullfroe, leopard flog. racer, garter snake; and <br />rattlesnake. No fish were observed. However. as the sne is within the lU0 year 1loudplain, [he <br />! JSFWS constdzrs the site to he habitat Fur Colorado syttawtish and razorback suckers. <br />t The one is subject to intensive livestock crazing and wildlife use is therefore propor[ionately <br />diminished. The owner has leased the site for tcaterlbvcl lututing lur mar,}' years. The <br />reconstruction of wetlands at 1 to 1.~ will olhszt temperal wetlands loss. Additional waterfowl <br />habitat will he created when the reclamation has been completed. <br /> <br />
