Such top- <br />soil removal will Facilitate tying together newly regraded spoils with adjacent <br />and previously regraded spoils and will maximize recovery of coal reserves. <br />Where removal of previously replaced Copsoil is necessary, replaced topsoil shall <br />be removed such that minimum mixing with spoil occurs. For example, where only <br />small areas are to be redisturbed, replaced topsoil will be bladed off the area <br />into berms and marked with topsoil signs). If the bemned topsoil can't be <br />redistributed in the same year, it will be placed into stockpiles. <br />For areas which exceed two acres in size, the Division will be notified at least <br />thirty days prior to conducting topsoil removal.
