Refuse Area #1 -reclamation
This SedCAD run is to represent the expected runoff and sediment
generated from 2002 forward. The area was most recently
reseeded and mulched in 1997 with a good stand of grass
currently in place.
• Curve numbers and erosivity factors reflect the soils replaced on
the refuse area and that naturally occurring on the undisturbed
portions of the watershed. Water quality was modeled using pond-
full scenario for purposes of demonstrating treatment instead of
storage of runoff. Factors reflect conservative assumptions
throughout these calculations.
