Crosby, Environmental Protection Specialist
RE: Platte Sand and Gravel LLC
S&H Mine
File #M-2000-158
Dear Ms. Crosby:
I am enclosing a copy of an analysis that Mr. Forest Leaf has
performed regarding ten irrigation wells and two domestic wells on my land
adjacent to the proposed gravel mining operation.
This letter is formal notification that I believe the potential for
injury is regional and more widespread than my own wells. Thus, I will be
submitting further evidence of potential injury to additional irrigation
and stock wells located along the entire eastern border of the proposed S&H
gravel pit area. Thus, I wish to include this regional impact as an issue
to be discussed in the prehearing conference and formal board hearing.
Sincerely,
~ ~~"..~
Michael J.
