• :usumcd the bird may be nesting in the area, but it would be well away from the proposed <br />~~~ad, since no active nest was found in the corridor. <br />Drill Site IPG-4 <br />Site and Access Rnad Habitat Survey <br />IPG-9 is lenated on a very mu•n»v ridge-top north of Dove Gulch at an elevation of <br />approxintatcly 8180 feet. The drill site is in the oakbmsh community, which also exists <br />on the weKt and south portions of the location. The area immediately to the east of the <br />drill site drops off an escarpment and is in dte Douglas fir community tilt several hundred <br />feet before turning into a narrow, mature clone of aspen on the fringe of the survey <br />radius. In addition to snowberry: scrviceberry. oakbntsh, chokerc:hem~, antelope; <br />bittcrbrush (Purshia tridemata) and mountain mahogany (Ccrcocarpus spp.l inhabit this <br />site. The oakbrush community is early sera) with a'-6 foot canopy on the westcm <br />escarpment.
