r ~ ~,; ~
CONSTRUCTION, INC.
96900 E. Mey 40 - Creip, C 0 87625
Phase 8 Fex (WO) 8242108 - (!00) 8949005
EXHIBIT C -MINING PLAN
WAGNER ROCK
Mining will commence upon approval of thi~a permit, and end when necessary
excavation has been completed to satisfy the requirements for construction of the hay
storage area. Topsoil depth in this rocky area is approximately twelve (12) inches deep
and is suitable as a plant growth medium. The topsoil will be salvaged for use in the
landscaping, backfilling and structural fill process.
The general post-mined area will be level and graded with rock to accommodate
construction and building activities. There is nc waste material anticipated as all rock
and gravel will be removed from the site. 'fhe depth of excavation varies from
approximately twenty-three (23) feet at the deep~ast end to zero (l)) feet at the opening,
covering approximately 9.5 acres. No buildings ur processing facilities will be used, and
the access route is already established and appnwed.
The excavation site is located at the highest point of a rock ledge. No runoff,
impoundment, or groundwater can affect the excavation or affect the hydrologic
balance, pre or post mine. No water will be used for excavation. However, if fill
materials are below optimum moisture content, water application may be necessary for
proper fill compaction. If that becomes necessary, an off site water source will be used
and no Colorado water laws will be violated.
