Previously, you contacted me in reference to
correspondence received from the United States Department of the
Interior, Bureau of Land Management dated June 23, 1988, which
corrEspondence indicated that the government had an interest in
the mineral estate as concerns a portion of the property subject
to the Permit Application. My client, Mr. Rick Vette, visited
with Mr. Daniel Grenard, acting Area Manager, with the Bureau of
Land Management of Canon City, Colorado, in response to that
writing. Mr. Grenard advises that as the portion of the land in
whickL the government has an interest is not now being mined nor
are i:here any immediate plans to mine that area, that his office
would not require a mineral material contract at this time. He
requests that you contact him directly in order that he might
verbs:ily aYpraisa you cf these :^.a*_ters and thereby remove any
restriction imposed by his earlier writing.
By this writing then, I would request that you contact Mr.
Grenard directly so as to satisfy your earlier condition that we
make appropriate arrangements with the Bureau of Land Management.
With that phone call, and absent any further advice by you, I
then presume that that condition will have been satisfied and
that you would proceed with the Permit Application, on schedule.
~~~~~~~
J U L 81988
iii iiiiiiiiiiiii iii ~
M.It!lt:D LAbi.~
RECLAPufATIQ~!
