Post-Damage Monitoring
The post-damage monitoring will be the same as pre-damage monitoring.
Mining Techniques
Conventional roarrand-pillar techniques with pillar extraction will be corn
ducted below stockponds. No alternative method is required.
No mining will be conducted below West Roatcap Creek and Terror Creek.
Limited mining will be conducted in buffer areas designated by BLM in Lease
#C-37210. Within these areas, only development entries will be mined. See
Map 2-5. In areas between 600 and 800 ft. of overburden, stream channels
will be undermined using development only, and no pillar recovery. Calcula-
tions shwa that this limited extraction will maintain the surface areas with
no subsidence. See Pillar Stability I.eport, Volt~ne 2. In areas of greater
than 800 ft, of overburden, conventional roam-and-pillar technique with pil-
lar extraction will be conducted.
• Repair Procedure -Short Term
Significant Ponds
1.
