PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to Rule 2, Section 8.6 of the Regulations of the
Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, notice is
hereby given by Seneca Coal Company, 1300 South Yale, Flagstaff,
Arizona 86001, on behalf of the Seneca II Mine, Drawer D,
Hayden, Colorado 81639, that an application has been filed with
the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (1313 Sherman
Street, Denver Colorado 80203-2273) for a permit transfer. The
application proposes the transfer of Surface Mine Permit No. C-
80-005 from Peabody Coal Company to Seneca Coal Company. No
changes to the currently approved mining and reclamation plan
are proposed.
