We have rv~ceived your application for a Mining & Reclamation Permit for your
surface mining operation in Jefferson County. Our initial review indicates
that all preliminary items required by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation
Act, C.R.S. 34-32-101, et seq., have been submitted; thus your application has
been deemed complete. AT1 comment and review time periods initiate from this
date.
The tentai;ive date for consideration of your application by the Mined Land
Reclamation Board is January 25, 1989. You should commence publication of a
notice of the filing of this application immediately (see enclosed notice
fornat). You must also mail a copy of the notice to all owners of record of
surface rights of affected land and immediately adjacent land. You must
provide proof of the notice and mailing, such as Certified Mail Return Receipt
Requested, to the 11LR staff before your application can be considered by the
Board. Ycu must also place a copy of this application for public re vievr, less
confidential items, with the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder. Any
subsequent changes or additions to the copies on file in our offices must also
be made in this local government copy.
THE STAFF IS REVIEWING YOUR APPLICATIOhJ TO DETERMINE WHETHER IT IS ADEQUATE TO
MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAW. THIS REVIEW WILL BE COMPLETED AS WELL IN
ADVANCE OF THE SCHEDULED BOARD h1EETING AS POSSIBLE, SO AS TO ALLOW SUFFICIENT
RESPONSE TIME.
