_ MINED ~ WILDLIFE STATEMENTIEVALUATIO~Revised) <br />for limited impacC and select regular mine applications <br />The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining permit for: <br />ff Farms - <br />Wildlife Species list: <br />r Shell b Clay - SE}, SEA, Sec. 16, TIN, R6010 Morgan County <br />and Location of Mine (Legal) <br />Deer, antelope, coyote, fox, badger, weasel, rabbits, pheasant, quail, dove, raptors <br />and numerous seasonal songbirds and small rodents. <br />Endangered/critical species/impacted: <br />No known threatened or endangered species. <br />Critical habitats/vegetative communities impacted: <br />NA <br />Assessment of impact: <br />Some negative impacts for small game and deer, due to habitat removal and mining <br />disturbance. <br />Mine Reclamation recotmnendations (include key species/habitats for which restoration <br />is designed). <br />Negative impacts can be offset by revegeCation with plant materials that will produce <br />more cover than some of the short grass species. It is recommended that a legume such <br />as yellow sweet clover or ladak be used as well as some of the taller grasses in the <br />mix.
