The reprinted book
~' !~~ E '. chapter by Laycock (1989) is a fairly recent and comprehensive summary of
• ' ', ,'}!~ existing information on this subject that you perhaps may want to review first.
' The paper by Laycock and McGinnies (1985) provides interim findings of a
~'% `~ ~ grazing trial at another mine in your vicinity, and thus should be of obvious
•~ ~ ~!t`~ ~ interest. Moore et al. (1989) describes the design of a Wyoming coal company
,../,. .
grazing trial that was implemented several years ago for purposes very similar
t ~~' to yours at Trapper (i.e., a "precedent"). The remaining papers describe results
'~.~.1 '~, ~ of mined land grazing research projects in Wyoming (Schuman et al. 1990),
itfl sti'/ ij,:,
!t/ ~`:i .1 North Dakota (Hofmann and Ries 1989, 1988; Hofmann et al. 1983) and
' ~ Montana (DePuit and Coenenberg 1989).
