Banks and Gesso, LLC <br />Exhibit G -Water Information <br />Overview <br />This project is located on the south side of the B.H. Eaton ditch, which is located <br />approximately 200 feet south of the Cache La Poudre River. The alluvial aquifer <br />associated with the Cache La Poudre River base flow shall be affected by the <br />dewatering of the mines. Mining is expected to occurring below the water table upon <br />approval of the Substitute Water Supply Plan (SWSP) and a Gravel Well Permit <br />application by the State Engineer's Office. A discharge permit from the Water Quality <br />Control Division at the Colorado Department of Health, and approval from the ditch <br />company will be obtained prior to discharge of dewatering water and/or wash water into <br />the B.H. Eaton ditch or the Cache La Poudre River. <br />Wells <br />One well is located within 600 feet of the proposed mining operations (see Exhibit C-1 <br />for location), and the applicant will obtain a signed waiver from the well owner prior to <br />exposing groundwater within 600 feet of this well. <br />Water Requirements <br />The total water requirement for this project (including evaporation and~~ operational <br />losses) is approximately 85 acre-feet.
