A containment unit will be a second tank or a lined pit.
2) Proposed portal will be cleared, drilled and blasted in to rim. Portal will be secured and
timbered as necessary. Portal should be eight feet high and eight feet wide. More drilling
and blasting of rim in portal will occur to create a mine. Then we will install a mine steel
gate to secure entry into mine. See drawing A for details. Vent holes will be drilled from
surface. Drilled vent hole dimensions will be eighteen inches.
3) All proposed affected azeas drainage water will run offto water retention pond capable
of holding a ten yeaz 24 hour precipitation event (1.5 inches at 100% runoff).
After reclamation sloped areas will be pocked to retain water and prevent erosion. No
water will be held after reclamation. See drawing B. Area will be seeded to prevent
erosion and run off and any water diversion will remain in place.
4) There is no electric power in area. All proposed vent holes are neaz existing roads so
no new azea will be disturbed except at vent hole.
5) Proposed site is in a previously disturbed area so background radiation exists. Low
grade ore will be mixed with high grade ore and shipped to the mill for processing. Waste
rock disposal area will be covered with surface soil. The existing surface soil is already
contaminated which explains the existing background radiation.
GPS N38degrees 19.696 min.
