SEDIMENT POND B CAPACITY
Sediment pond B is constructed in the north central portion
of the permit area. Sediment ponds B contains the run-off
from the central portion of the permit area. Based on the
following calculations, sediment pond C is not required
since sediment pond B can contain the run-off from the
entire drainage area. Sediment pond B is constructed
in Section 33 Creek. Sediment pond B is sized to handle the
run-off from both drainage areas B & C. The emergency
spillway for pond B is sized to handle the calculated peak
peak flow from drainage areas B & C.
