Section 77L.23(e) Continued. <br />(G) In the case of an applicant or operator which obtained a small <br />operator's exemption in accordance with 30 CFR 710.12, .January 1, 1979; <br />(iii) After stay 3, 1978 (or .lanuary .l, 1979, for person, who received a <br />small operator's exemption) and prior to the approval of the applicable <br />regulatory program; <br />(iv) After the estimated date nF issuance of a permit by the regulatory <br />authority. <br />All. maps submitted with this application are, to [he extent pos- <br />sible, presented in a consolidated format and include the infor- <br />mation that is set Forth on topographic maps of the ^. S. Ceo1o- <br />gical Survey of the 1:24,000 scale series. Maps showing the actual <br />mining areas have a scale of L: 6,000 (1 inch=500 feet). The maps <br />showing the tipple area have a scale of 1:1,2(10 (1 inch=100 f.eet). <br />Two other scales: 1:12,000 (1 inch=1000 feet) and L: 24,000 (1 <br />inch=2000 Eeet) are used occasionally. A11 maps clearly show the <br />lands and waters within the mine plan area. <br />In addition, ail maps and plans submitted with this application <br />differentiate between the phases during which surface coal mining <br />operations were or will be conducted. Distinctlons are clearly <br />shown Eur the mine plan area in which the following chronology of <br />coal mining occurred: <br />(1) Area mined prior to August 3, 1977; <br />(2) Area mined after August 3, 1977, and prior to <br />May 3, 1978; <br />(3) Area mined after May 3, 1978, and prior to August L, <br />1980; and <br />(4) Area to he mined after August 1, 1980. <br /> <br />771-15 <br />
