Refer to Table 24. Sedimentation Pond L2 - Design Summary, for design
• results. The pond's storage capacity table and stage/storage curve are
shown on the West Loadout Area Pond L2 and Drainage Structure Design Map,
(Map 27), along with cross sections illustrating all design results. The
storage capacity table and stage/storage curve illustrate the pond's
available sediment and runoff storage volume. Design calculations for the
pond are contained in the following text of this exhibit.
Hvdrologv
Hydrology Inputs
The Pond L2 drainage area is shown on the Loadout Area Surface and
Groundwater Hydrology Map (Map 13). The drainage area is divided into
the following two subwatersheds:
• JBS 111/SWS 1 West Loadout North Side ( Perimeter Ditch )
• JBS 111/SWS 2 West Loadout South Side

All hydrology inputs for subwatersheds are shown on Table 23D. SEDCAD+
Version 3.0, Pond L2 and Perimeter Ditch.
The CN numbers used for Pond L2 watershed were obtained from Procedures
for Determining Peak Flows in Colorado and Technical Release No. 55
(USDA-SCS, 1980). Based on soil type and vegetation cover, curve
numbers were determined using Table 2.2a and 2.2d, USDA-SCS TR55, for
the following conditions:
Undisturbed
Soil Type B
Ground Cover: < 30X.
