<br />Conditions of Approval <br />Disappointment Pit <br />COC 066633 <br />1) The operator shall contact BLM at least 48 hours before beginning any crushing operations to <br />arrange a pre job onsite to discuss the contract requirements. <br />2)The purchaser shall measure all production and provide BLM with a quarterly production <br />report. <br />3) The operator shall complete alt reclamation within 6 months of the expiration of the mineral <br />materials pennit. <br />4) The azea will be kept clear of trash at all times. <br />5) No hazardous materials will be stored on-site. <br />6) Operator will spray all noxious weeds on an as needed basis. <br />7) Work will be halted immediately if any cultural resource artifact is discovered, and the BLM <br />will be notified immediately. <br />8) The pit gate needs to be signed identifying the name of the pit and operator. <br />9) The permit boundary will be clearly defined with steel fence posts <br />10) The operator will comply with all applicable Federal, State of Colorado, and San Miguel <br />County laws and regulations. <br />Reclamation Guidelines <br />1) Strip approximately 12 inches of soil from the surface and stock pile is along the edge of the <br />pit. <br />2) Remove gavel from the stripped azea. <br />3) hmediately following gravel extraction, all oversized material and reject material will be <br />buried in the extracted area, and the soil will be replaced and recontoured to blend in with the <br />natural topography. <br />4) Scarify the recontoured azea for seed bed prepazation. <br />5) The following seed mix will be used for reclamation. <br />
