Elevations were provided by Basin Resources based upon <br />altimeter readings. The test results indicate compaction generally exceeds 90 percent of <br />• maximum standard Proctor dry density (ASTM D 698). <br />We also measured groundwater in the monitor wells on the lower three benches <br />of the New Elk refuse disposal area. The results are presented on Table I. The <br />groundwater measurements did not show a significant rise.
