Box 165
La Veta, Colorado 81055
RE: Rocky Flat Gravel
FILE: No. 82-129
Dear Mr. Goemmer:
I received your letter and accompanying map in answer to my letter of
June 24th. I now feel that we have settled all of the adequacy issues
that I raised during the permitting process. I also received the new
letter that I requested from the Division of Wildlife. It seems that they
have no new problems orith the operation as it is now planned. I have
enclosed a copy of this letter. .
I have reviewed the five documents that comprise the warranty package for
this operation. I passed them on for review to our Attorney General's
representative, and she approved them. Before I did this, I made one
addition to the form entitled "Financial Warranty - Deed of Trust".
On page 7, very near the bottom, I added the legal description for the
operation, exactly as it appears on the performance warranty form, as
"Exhibit A - Affected Lands". This addition made this document satisfactory.
Unlesa I am informed otherwise by you, I will assume that you approve of
this addition.
Therefore, enclosed please find two signed copies of the mining and
reclaviation permit for the above captioned operation. Please sign
each of the permits in the space indicated and have your signature
notarized, in each case. Then, retain one copy of the permit for your
files and return the other copy to our Division within two weeks.
