6. All property owners, power and communication and fence lines have been
identified. The property owners are.
A. Fred Paulson (NE 114 Section 3 )
B. Dwane Dillon (NE 114 Section 34)
7. Phase lines distinguish between different areas of disturbance. Please note
that numbers refer to a particular area they are not to be confused as a
mining sequence. This operator feels that it is necessary to be able to
choose each phase of mining in no particular order depending on the quality
of material in each deposit and the economic cost factor involved for the
extraction of the material in each different phase.
8. The final plan is to be one large pit.
9. All product stockpiles will be located in the yard and material stockpile area.
All topsoil locations have been located on revised maps. The operator plans
to keep topsoil stockpiles to minimum of 5 acres of removed and stockpiled
and seeded topsoil areas. At this time the operator will use a remove and
replace method which will remove topsoil carry and place on areas already
shaped and prepared ready for topsoil replacement.
10. This line is a temporary line for a wildlife habitat we have created in
cooperation with Colorado Department of Wildlife. This area was
established to offer a more scenic view along the Highway corridor.
Note the wildlife habitat area is a temporary set aside area this area will be
mined in the future.
11. The Wildlife Habitat area applies only to this area and is temporary. It is not
a future use, Rangeland is our future use.
12. Yes phase 4 will be mined. The operator plans to use this area as a
processing and stockpile area as long as it cost feasible. We have
designated two areas for temporary topsoil stockpile areas. The road will act
as a stormwater control dike. Phase 4 was designated as a yard area due to
the fact that is slightly higher in elevation. This will help manage stormwater
drainage keeping stormwater from entering the yard area and letting the
operator divert stormwater to other phases not being disturbed or mined.
13. The operator has resubmitted all maps. The previously submited maps may
be used as a reference for mining and reclamation for that one particular
area of disturbance. ;~
