There is 1 identified site located in the project area. (See attached sheet.) Our files contain incomplete information for this area as most of Colorado has not been inventoried for cultural resources. There is the possibility that unidentified cultural resources exist within the project area. Therefore, in the event there is Federal involvement, we recommend that a professional survey be conducted to identify any cultural resources in the project area which are eligible to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We look forward to consulting with you regarding the effect of the proposed project on any eligible cultural resource in accordance with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation procedures for the Preservation and Protection of Historic and Cultural Resources (36 CFR 800). Please provide this office with the results of the cultural resource survey for our review of professional adequacy and compliance with regulations.
