• Runoff Volume. V
The runoff volume is calculated by the SEDCAD computer model during the hydrologic modeling
routine.
Peak Discharge, Oo
The peak discharge is calculated by the SEDCAD computer model dutmg the hydrologic modeling
routine.
Soil Erodability Factor, K
The K factor for the site was obtained From previously submitted and approved calculations found in
this Exhibit.
Representative Slone Length. SL
The slope length is representative of the typical slope length found on the sub-watershed. It is the
distance from the point of origin of overland Elow to the point where the slope decreases such that
significant deposition occurs or the flow enters a defined channel. Slope lengths were measured from
1" = 100', ]0' contour maps. The calculated values for each structure are shown on the SEDCAD
printouts.
Average Slope
The average slope is entered as a percent and is the representative slope for overland flow for each
sub-watershed. The average slope was measured directly from 1" = 100', 10' contour maps. The
calculated values for each structure ate shown on the SEDCAD printouts.
Control Practice Factor, CP
The control practice Factor is defined as the ratio of sediment loss from an area with a given cover and
conservation practice to that of a field in continuous fallow. The Following values were utilized:
• Area Condition CP
Disturbed Rough, irregular, 0.9
Undisturbed 50 io canopy, 2-m canoe}' 60% ground cover 0.038
Slope Stabilization Rough & taclafier (.66x.8) 0.53
