• 3) All cut and fill slopes and any other stripped areas should be pro[ected against erosion by revege[a[ion or
other methods. We recommend that the exposed slopes be revegeta[ed as soon az is practical so that [he
vegeta[ion will have adequate time during the growing seazon to take root and help stabilize the upper
topsoil and overburden soils.
it should be noted that some minor sloughing of the topsoil and near surface overburden soils could occur if the
surface and subsurface drainage conditions aze not adequately controlled.
LIlt-IITATIONS
This report haz been prepared in accordance with generally accepted soil and geotechnical engineering practices in
[his area. The conclusions and recommendations submitted in this report are based upon the data obtained from
the exploratory test pits and holes excavated or drilled at the approximate locations shown on the site plan, az well
as the subsurface information obtained from the previous subsurface investigation completed for the client.
Professional judgments based on the subsurface conditions encountered are presented in this report. They are
based partly on evaluation of technical information gathered, partly on our observations made during the field
investigation, partly on our understanding of the proposed slope configurations and construction techniques, and
partly on our experience with similar slopes and subsurface conditions. We do not guarantee the performance of
• the project in any respect; only that our engineering work and judgment rendered meet the s[andard of care in our
profession.
If you have any questions regarding this report or if we may be of futther service, pleaze do not hesitate to contact
us.
Sincerely,
NORTHWEST COL O S, INC.
Pp0 REG/ST
•.
