Box 1817 <br />Ouray, Colorado 81427 <br />RE: Mined Land Reclamation Division Comments of 1/12/92 <br />Gentlemen: <br />I have reviewed the comments submitted to your agent, Mr. <br />Robert Larson, by Mr. Larry Oehler of the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Division. After studying your mining plan, topographic data, <br />cross sections, the 1978 Floodplain Study for the Uncompahgre <br />River, and well data, I have made an analysis of streamflow <br />patterns, erosion potential, and water table depths to assess the <br />likelihood for offsite impacts resulting from your gravel mining <br />operations. <br />The results of my analysis are attached in the form of <br />responses to certain identified comments.
