• aid in~maximizing grazing distnibution,_ Portable tanks will be 'used for stockwateri ng and
will be located to encourage grazing distribution and to facilitate refilling by a water
truck. At least two watering locations will be established.
Crazing in this pasture will be evaluated on a continuing basis with adjustments and
modifications made as necessary to insure continued flexibility and effectiveness of the
plan. Revegetation monitoring activities consistent with the approved revegetation
monitoring program will be carried out in this pasture annually, beginning the first year
after the initiation of grazing, to grazing affects for stand manipulation. The
monitoring report will be submitted by March 30 of the following year. The monitoring
report will be included in the Annual Reclamation Report.
Several areas that were reclaimed in 1979-1981 are not included in this grazing management
plan because of their location and small size. These areas will continue to be valuable
as big game spring/summer forage habitat especially those that are adjacent to undisturbed
native vegetation. These areas are not extensive and are insignificant when viewed with
the postlaw reclamation as a whole.
•
The above grazing management plan will be implemented during the 1987 growing season. As
stated earlier, modified revegetation activities have already been implemented.

13-4-5 Revised 04/30/90
