Since it is located outside of the <br />Federal lease area, it is not protected uy existing iau or legis- <br />lation. It is recor.~n:ended that adjacent land in the Federal lease <br />area be monitored for buried c•s'_tural resources during the initial <br />stages of dirt removal. Tf subsurface cultural deposits are dis- <br />covered, wort: should be halted ar.d the reseu-ce be properly evalu- <br />ated.
