Introduction
This plan is submitted to the Division of Minerals & Geology, Colorado Department of
Natural Resources, in accordance with the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation
Act, 34-33-101 et seq., C. R. S. 1973 as Amended, Section 34-33-117, and the Rules
promulgated thereunder. Further references will be in the form of §2.02.2(2)(c). CAM-
Colorado LLC may hereinafter be referred to as CAM.
Purpose
CAM-Colorado LLC, is proposing to drill twelve geotechnical holes to determine the
material strength properties of the local soils. The strength properties will be utilized to
assist in the design of the proposed facilities for the Red Cliff Mine.
