• 2.05.6(6) Subsidence Survey, Subsidence Monitoring, and Subsidence Control Plan
(a) An inventory of all structures and renewable resource lands which exist
within the proposed permit and adjacent area.
Numerous structures are located within the proposed permit and adjacent
area along old State Highway 133. The structures are associated with the
old King Mine and a few private homes and outbuildings. The Fire Mountain
Canal and Deer Trail Ditch are also located along the old State Highway.
Since these structures are geologically below the coal seam to be mined,
they cannot be affected by subsidence.
Numerous springs and ponds are located in the permit and adjacent area.
Groundwaterwithinthe formation could be considered a renewable resource.
Few decreed water rights are located within the permit boundary and
adjacent area.
Portions of Hubbard Creek are within the permit boundary and adjacent area.
Terror Creek, Terror Ditch and Terror Creek Reservoir lie entirely outside the
limits of mining and are not within the permit area. Additionally, the power
line which runs in a north south direction in the Terror Creek drainage is not
within the permit boundary or adjacent area.
Terror Creek road is not within the adjacent area. Portions of the Hubbard
Creek road are within the permit boundary and adjacent area. Secondary
roads and trails are present in the permit boundary and adjacent area.
(a)(i) No response required.
(a)(ii) A brief description of all structures and renewable resource lands which exist
within the proposed permit and adjacent area.

PR-04 2.05 - 100 - ~o/oo
