The equipment used will
be one Mayhew 1000-1250 rotary drill and one hollow stem auger drill. It is anticipated
that most of the locations can be drilled by air from an air compressor mounted on the
drill rig being used. However, if water is used, one 1,000-gallon water truck will be
parked in the field area. Other equipment in the field will include three four-wheel
drive pickups and one geophysical logging truck.
There will be a total of 166 bore, core, and monitor well locations to be explored at an
average depth of 60 feet each. The diameter of each hole will be 4 3/4 inches. See
Exhibit "A".
~ht-Use Roads, Seed Mixtures
Approximately 3.1 miles of light use roads will be constructed in accordance with 4.03.2
and/or 4.03.3, regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining.
Side cast construction will be used, with topsoil placed on the upward slope.
