This notice consists of 166 bore <br />holes, core holes and monitor wells required to help <br />delineate coal quality and quantity and subsurface water <br />levels and quality. <br />Peabody would like to commence drilling operations the week <br />_• of July 11, 1988 with the understanding that no activities <br />will be conducted at those sites consisting of leased <br />Federal coal or non-leased Federal coal until Peabody's <br />Exploration Plan and Exploration License Application have <br />been approved by the Bureau of Land Management. <br />All required archaeological reports have been submitted to <br />the Office of the State Archaeologist. A complete copy of <br />this Notice of Intent has been filed with the Routt County <br />Clerk's Office. <br />If this Notice of Intent meets with your Department's <br />approval, or if further recommendations or requirements are <br />necessary, please advise.
