Pursuant to Rule 1.7.4, of the Construction Materials Rules and Regulations of the Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Board (Rule), DMG has scheduled the application for Formal Public
Hearing before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board (Board), for consideration of
application. The Formal Public Hearing has been scheduled for the January 28-29, 1998
Board meeting at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 318, Denver, Colorado. Specific date of the
hearing will follow under separate mailing.
Pursuant to Rule 2.7.1, DMG has tentatively scheduled aPre-Hearing Conference for
January 15, 1998. Purpose of the Pre-Hearing Conference is to identify the parties for the
Formal Public Hearing and to identify the issues to be considered by the Board at the Formal
Public Hearing. Pre-Hearing Conference is scheduled to occur at the Montezuma County
Annex, 107 North Chestnut, Cortez, commencing at 10:00 a.m. If re-scheduling of the Pre-
Hearing Conference should prove necessary, DMG will inform the parties of the re-scheduled
conference.
Pursuant to Rule 1 .7.4 and 1.4.6, DMG has scheduled an Informal Conference for December
9, 1997. Rule 1.4.6(2) states, "At the Informal Conference, each person objecting to the
approval of the application shall set forth the grounds for the objection. Similarly, the
Applicant, and any other person supporting the issuance of the application, shall present the
grounds necessary to support the issuance of the application." Informal Conference is
scheduled to occur at the Montezuma County Annex, 107 North Chestnut, Cortez,
commencing at 10:00 a.m.
