PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS IIEREBY GIVEN that the Grand County Board
of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday,
September 4, 1984 in the Commissioners Board P,oom of the County Courthouse,
Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider the application of Grand
County fora permit to conduct a gravel operation located within the following
parcel of land:
A legal description of Grand County gravel pit in Section 8,
Township 1 North, Range 79 West of the 6th P.M.
Beginning at a point on the Center Line of existing County Road
and West Line of Section 8, Township 1 North, Range 79 West,
whence the Northwest Corner of said Section 8 bears N-00-45-E a
distance of 659.87 feet. Thence following the Center Line of
existing road the following bearings and distances: RE~E~ V ~~
5-69-47-E a distance of 68.32 feet; lr
5-66-40-E a distance of 93.50 feet;
5-86-42-E a distance of 102.61 feet; ~ EP 419b.
N-80-53-E a distance of 100.32 feet;

N-59-52-E a distance of 146.00 feet; Colo. Dept. of Natures rte,uurces10N
N-74-28-E a distance of 64.85 feet;
5-72-43-E a distance of 400.0 feet; to
the East end of the Gravel Pit. Thence 5-00-45-V! a distance of
364.82 feet. Thence 5-89-09-IJ a distance of 1035.67 feet to the
West line of Section 8, Township 1 North, Range 79 West. Thence
N-00-45E a distance of 417.96 feet along said West line of Section
8, Township 1 North, Range 79 41est to Point of Beginning. Containing
9.66 acres more or less.
The operation will be for a three (3) year duration commencing in the
fall of 1984 and ending in the fall of 1987.

8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Flonday through Friday or call 725-3347.
This hearing is open and any person or organization desiring to speak
on the matter will be afforded an opportunity to be heard.
