RE: Objections to Application M-2003-037, Haldorson Sand and Gravel Mine.
Dear Mr. Haldorson:
On July 14, 2003, DMG received objections to the application for the above referenced site
from Dave and Kathy Casias. A copy of the objection from the Casias s is enclosed. The
Casias s objections as staff understands them are as follows:
1) The proposed site is mainly residential in nature.
2) The applicant has not addressed ground water issues, specifically the affect on some
natural springs.
3) The reclamation back into agriculture has proven to be impossible with what their
permit says .
Please inform DMG how the applicant will respond to the issues raised in the objections from
the Casias s.
