• acre will be collected and analyzed to determine needed amend-
ments. If required, lime will be added and deep scarified into
the surface materials prior to planting.
Two communities will be re-established according to the fol-
lowing revegetation plan; a grassland community on the uplands
and slopes away from Hubbard Creek, designated "G" on Exhibit Q,
and a riparian community along the creek and flat valley bottom,
designated "R" on Exhibit Q.
Revegetation of the grassland community will proceed as
follows: Once the slopes are prepared, the grass, forb and shrub
seeds and necessary amendments will be broadcast or drilled
during the first appropriate planting season. When seeding is
completed the area will be mulched and mechanically crimped or
netted. The planting time will be carefully selected because the
major slope that will be seeded has a western aspect. Those por-
tions of the slopes that appear susceptible to gully erosion will
be selectively netted to minimize erosion. The mix that is
proposed for the grassland community on the slope is:
PLS
GRASSES LB/AC FT%
• Mountain Brome
Indian Ricegrasa Bromus
Oryzop carinatys
sis hymenoides Paloma 4.5
3.0 15
13
Wheatgrass Intermediate Agrony ron intermedian (Amur) 4.5 9
Wheatgrass Slender Agrony ron trachycaulum (Primarl 4.5 16
Wheatgrass Western Agrony ron smithii (Rosana) 6.0 15
PLS
LB/AC FT=
FORBS
Small Burnett Sanguisorba minor 1.5 1
American Vetch Vicia american 3.0 1
SHRUB
Mountain Mahogany Cercocarpus montanus 1.5 2
SHRUBS
Gambel's Oak Quercus Rambelli 3.0
Serviceberry Amelanchier alnifolia 3.0
Wood's Rose Rosa woodsii 3.0
9.0
The upland slope away from Hubbard Creek
1986 in accordance with the above plan.
